Granite comes in many colors and textures. For many years, the common school of thought was that it took millions, if not billions, of years to form granite. However, since granite does not form today, both secular and Biblical scientists are realizing that it must have formed very rapidly and needed an unique set of circumstances to have cause it to form. Genesis 6 - 8 provides a perfect scenario for the rapid formation of granite.
